Indigenous Storytelling: Orality, Authenticity, and Appropriation

 Indigenous stories are infused with diverse ways of knowing, being, and doing that have been passed on from generation to generation.  Through colonization stories have been appropriated and rewritten within Eurocentric paradigms. This workshop offers some guidance towards using Indigenous stories respectfully and authentically within the classroom.
